Our fire has been burning since 1845
The famous fire at The Warren House Inn
This is the famous fire that has been burning since 1845, when the
smouldering embers were transferred from the original old building across the road.
We now use hardwood logs obtained locally, instead of the peat vags
which were used
in 1845.
At the other end of the bar, we have another log fire - this picture shows it at Christmas time with the decorations. This additional fire is only lit in the colder weather.
