The picture on the left shows the Warren House Inn during the bleak winter of 1963 when the Warren was cut off from civilisation for 12 weeks. Some supplies were dropped locally by helicopter.
The pictures below were taken in more recent times and record the snowfall in 1998 - fortunately this downfall didn't last as long as in 1963 !
